FACULTIES, DEPARTMENTS AND PROGRAMS
The Legacy University shall attain full maturity after 25 years of its establishment and shall have a school. 8 faculties, 54 departments and 190 academic programs (undergraduate and postgraduate) based on d planned growth and development of the university. The university shall establish a school of post graduate studies to take care of the requirements of postgraduate students. The faculty and schools that shall be established by the legacy university at its full maturity are:

i. Faculty of arts.
ii. Faculty of Engineering
iii. Faculty of Environmental Science
vi. Faculty of Law
v. Faculty of Management Science
vi. Faculty of Medical Science
vii. Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences
viii. Faculty of Social Sciences
ix. School of Postgraduate Studies
PHASE ONE (2011/12 _ 2015/16 SESSIONS)
At its inception, the legacy University shall establish three faculties, namely: Faculty of Arts and Social Science; Faculty of Management Sciences; and Faculty of Natural and Applied Science with 14 departments and 16 undergraduate programs. A General Studies Unit shall also be established at the beginning this phase. The list of the faculties, departments and programs to be established in phase one is as follows:
